Terms
Terms of Service
Effective date: October 8, 2026
The short version. This summary is for convenience only — the full Terms below are what applies.
- MCP Warp gives your local MCP servers a public, OAuth-protected URL. You're responsible for what your servers expose and for the account you keep it under.
- There's a Free plan (100 requests/month, 1 server) and paid Plus ($5/month) and Pro ($10/month) plans. Usage resets at the start of every UTC month.
- Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. Cancel anytime from Settings > Billing via the billing portal, or by emailing support@mcpwarp.io — access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. There's a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
- The tunnel relays your MCP traffic. Automated monitoring inspects it to detect abuse and illegal activity; beyond a short-lived processing queue, request and response bodies are stored, and can be viewed by a person, only for accounts flagged for review.
- The Service is provided "as is", best-effort, with no uptime guarantee.
- Our liability is limited: at most, what you paid us in the last 12 months.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mcpwarp.io website, themcpwarp CLI, and the MCP Warp dashboard and tunnel service (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Anatoly Tarnavsky, sole proprietor ("MCP Warp", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using mcpwarp.io, the mcpwarp CLI, or the dashboard and tunnel service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MCP Warp is a tunnel service for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service includes:
- The mcpwarp.io website (documentation and blog)
- The
mcpwarpCLI, a Go binary distributed via Homebrew, Scoop, Linux packages, and GitHub - The dashboard at web.mcpwarp.io, where you manage servers, tokens, and billing
- The tunnel infrastructure — a hosted relay that gives each MCP server you register a public, OAuth-protected URL at
https://<name>-<username>.tunnel.mcpwarp.io/mcp, so that MCP clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code, and any Streamable HTTP MCP client can reach it
3. Account Registration and Eligibility
- Accounts are managed through our self-hosted Keycloak identity provider.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Access to your servers is owner-only: there is no sharing and no anonymous access.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and any personal access tokens (
mcpwarp_pat_...) secure, and for all activity under your account. - You must provide accurate information when creating your account and choosing your username, which forms part of every tunnel URL you're assigned.
4. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Not use the Service to create, store, or relay illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the tunnel infrastructure.
- Take responsibility for what your MCP servers expose. You choose which local servers to register and which MCP clients to authorize — we do not vouch for the content or behavior of either. Our systems analyze all tunnel traffic automatically to detect abuse, and a person may view the traffic of accounts flagged for review, as described in "Fair Use and Abuse Monitoring" below and in the Privacy Policy.
- Respect the terms of any third-party MCP client (Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code, or otherwise) you connect through the tunnel. We are not responsible for how those clients behave or handle data once a request reaches them.
- Observe fair use of the Pro plan's unlimited-server allowance — see "Subscription Tiers" below.
5. Fair Use and Abuse Monitoring
MCP Warp is a tunnel for MCP traffic. Abuse includes:
- Using the tunnel as a generic relay or proxy for traffic that isn't MCP, such as file transfer, general web proxying, or data tunneled inside MCP messages.
- Using the Service for illegal activity.
- Using the Service in a way that overloads it or degrades it for other users.
- Going beyond fair use of the Pro plan's unlimited-server allowance.
We use automated monitoring to detect abuse, illegal activity, and use beyond fair use. It may flag an account for review by a person, and our administrators can also flag an account by hand. A flag by itself does not suspend your account or block your traffic. While an account is flagged, we may store its request and reply bodies and a person may view them to investigate.
If the review finds abuse, we may suspend or terminate the account under "Suspension and Termination" below. See the Privacy Policy for what the monitoring collects and how long it is kept.
6. Subscription Tiers
The Service currently offers three tiers:
- Free: 100 requests/month, 1 server. No payment required.
- Plus: unlimited requests, 1 server, for a recurring fee of $5/month.
- Pro: unlimited requests, unlimited servers (subject to fair use), for a recurring fee of $10/month.
The quota month is the UTC calendar month. Requests over your plan's quota receive an HTTP429 response; the server cap is enforced when you register a new server. We reserve the right to modify tier features, allowances, or pricing with reasonable notice. Changes to paid tier pricing will not apply to a period you've already paid for.
7. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellation
Plus and Pro are billed as recurring monthly subscriptions. The following terms apply to all paid subscriptions.
Payments for paid plans are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (Polar), which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Polar's buyer terms and privacy policy apply to your purchase in addition to these Terms.
As merchant of record, Polar is the seller of record for your purchase: it handles billing, collects and remits applicable taxes, and issues refunds. If Polar's buyer terms conflict with these Terms, Polar's terms govern the payment transaction itself (billing, taxes, invoicing, and the mechanics of refunds) and these Terms govern everything else, including any refund promise we make that is more generous than Polar's policy, which we will honor.
- Upgrading. From the dashboard, go to Settings > Billing and choose "Upgrade to Plus" or "Upgrade to Pro." This opens our payment provider's hosted checkout. Your new plan applies as soon as checkout completes.
- Billing period and renewal. Paid plans are sold as monthly subscription periods and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled, charged to the payment method on file with our payment provider.
- Cancelling. There is no in-app cancel. From Settings > Billing, choose "Manage billing" to open the billing portal in a new tab, where you can cancel, switch plans, update your payment method, and download invoices — or cancel by emailingsupport@mcpwarp.io. When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account returns to Free. We do not provide automatic partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
- Downgrading. If you switch to a lower tier (or your subscription lapses to Free), existing servers are kept, but creating new servers is blocked while you're over your new plan's server cap (1 server on Free and Plus). On Free, the 100-requests-per-month cap applies starting from your next request.
- Failed payments and chargebacks. If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back, we may suspend or downgrade your paid access until the amount due is settled. If you believe a charge is wrong, contactsupport@mcpwarp.io first; we will normally resolve it faster than a dispute with your bank.
- 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with yourfirst payment for a paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of that purchase by emailingsupport@mcpwarp.io. This guarantee applies to a first-time subscription purchase and does not apply to renewals.
- Statutory rights unaffected. Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable law. Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal on digital purchases, in addition to the guarantee above.
- How refunds are issued. Refunds are processed by our payment provider under its own refund policy and returned to the original payment method where possible.
- Changes to payment providers. We may add, replace, or stop using a payment provider. If a change requires you to re-authorize a subscription, we will notify active paid users by email. A change of provider does not shorten a period you've already paid for.
See Manage your subscription for a walkthrough of the billing flows described above.
8. Service Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer a service level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee. We may perform maintenance or service changes that result in temporary downtime, with or without advance notice. We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from service interruptions, including lost connections or failed MCP requests.
9. Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or threaten its security or availability for other users.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before or at the time of suspension, except where immediate action is necessary for security reasons.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@mcpwarp.io.
- Upon termination, your tunnel URLs stop functioning immediately and all MCP client access is revoked.
10. Data Processing
The tunnel relays MCP request and response bodies between your MCP client and your local server in real time. Our automated monitoring inspects this traffic to detect abuse; it keeps the calling client's IP address and request metadata, and keeps content beyond a short-lived processing queue only for accounts flagged for review. See "Fair Use and Abuse Monitoring" above and the Privacy Policy. Your MCP servers, and the local targets they expose, run and execute entirely on your own machine; we never run your code for you. Connections between the CLI, the tunnel edge, and MCP clients use TLS encryption (terminated at Cloudflare). No system is perfectly secure, and transmitting data over the internet involves inherent risk.
11. Intellectual Property
The mcpwarp CLI is open source under the MIT License; seeits repository. The dashboard, tunnel infrastructure, and the "MCP Warp" name and marks are proprietary and belong to the operator.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services including but not limited to:
- MCP client providers (for example Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT) — these connect to your tunnel via OAuth. We facilitate the authentication flow but do not control how these providers process data once it reaches them.
- Cloudflare, for network edge TLS termination and DDoS protection.
- Our payment provider, merchant of record for payments — see "Payments, Refunds, and Cancellation" above.
- Brevo, for transactional email, such as emails about changes to your plan.
We are not responsible for the availability, terms, or policies of these third-party services.
13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any specific uptime level, or that MCP clients will always be able to connect to your tunnel.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including service interruptions, failed connections, or the behavior of third-party MCP clients or the local servers you choose to expose.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active paid users by email at least14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel. If you are a consumer, this does not limit any right you have under the law of your country of residence to bring proceedings in, or benefit from the mandatory protections of, your local courts and law.
16. Contact
